5. General Contractor or Builder

• building houses or installing a particular system
• may be a carpenter (usually deals with the wooden structure of homes), a mason (often concerned only with concrete or brick work such as foundations, brick veneers, and chimneys, an electrician (specializes in electrical and some heating systems), heating (installs and repairs heating systems), plumber (works with supply and waste water systems), etc.
• seldom deals with more than two or three of the home's systems
